Victoria by the Sea
Victoria by the Sea is a fishing village on the warm south shore of Prince Edward Island. A fully-functioning village, Victoria is filled with impeccably maintained Victorian gingerbread houses and gardens. The main street reaches up from a beautiful harbor and pier past a chocolate factory and store, a beautiful family restaurant, and a restored 19th century wooden theatre to a charming hotel called The Orient. Beyond this are lush green farmer’s fields, and perched in the middle of one, on the side of the hill just at the top of the town, is the original Victoria school house. Big windows overlooking the straight of Northumberland provide streams of summer light in the two-room wooden building where the Director’s retreat, and Duncan McIntosh's Directing Acting workshop, will be centered.
